From November 23rd to November 26th, Hebrew Academy students enjoyed a well-needed break and celebrated Thanksgiving in various ways, ranging from the traditional turkey at home surrounded by family, to a relaxing vacation in the Bahamas. The following are firsthand accounts of how Warriors celebrated their break:
“This Thanksgiving break I went to the Bahamas. It was so much fun! Especially after having a really intense past few weeks of school,” said Elly Rosenberg (10th).
“For this year's Thanksgiving break, I went to New York. It was so nice to be able to hang out with and spend time with my family who I haven't seen in a while,” said Zalman Wuensch (9th).
“For Thanksgiving, I went to New York City with my friends. We went to watch Almost Famous on Broadway. Overall, I had such an amazing time!” said Lian Swissa (9th).
“For this Thanksgiving break, I stayed home, and a lot of my camp friends came in from New York. It was so nice to see them. We had such a great time together,” said Ella Levy (10th).
“This Thanksgiving I went to New York and was able to hang out with friends who I haven’t seen in a long time,” said Zalman Shagalov (10th).
“This past Thanksgiving break, I went to the keys. When I came home, I hung out with camp friends who I don’t see often. It was a really fun break, ” said Zachary Schuster (10th).
“Thanksgiving was really nice this year. I played pickleball with my grandfather and my family. I also had a really nice Thanksgiving meal with my extended family,” said Noa Sasi (11th).
“For Thanksgiving break, I stayed in Miami and went to Top Golf with friends and had a great time with my family at Thanksgiving dinner,” said Shalev Bachar (11th).
“I stayed home for Thanksgiving and spent time with my family and cousins. We had a great breakfast together!” said Leah Berkowitz (12th).
“I had a really relaxing Thanksgiving. I stayed home and spent quality time with my family,” said Joseph Allouche (12th).
