Humans of RASG: Solal Haggiag

Warrior Word Staff

Humans of RASG, similar to Humans of New York, is a verbal snapshot of the people who make up our high school. Each human is asked to speak about themselves at length, and their monologue is recorded and transcribed verbatim. In order to keep it real, nothing is omitted. This week, the Warrior Word interviewed Solal Haggiag (10th). Get to know Solal as he discusses his recent move from Los Angeles and his interests.

"Hello, my name is Solal Haggiag. I’m sixteen years old, and I'm in tenth grade. I am one of five kids in my family—one older and three younger siblings—who also attend Hebrew Academy. This is my first year at this school. I moved here from LA in the summer. In the beginning, being a new kid at this high school was hard, but I love the Miami sun and, specifically, our PE coach, Coach Steven. Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer; it’s my favorite sport. My favorite subject in school is math—I find it fun and interesting. I look forward to finishing this school year with the new friends I have made within the school community."
