Last Monday, our school organized an event for a variety of individuals. A group of children who, unfortunately, became orphans on October 7, 2023, got to interact with about fifteen tenth-grade boys.
The morning began right after davening with a breakfast from Dunkin Donuts. The boys enjoyed conversing over this yummy donut breakfast. As both groups became more friendly with each other, they made their way to the gymnasium.
In the gymnasium, they played many different sports, including basketball and tennis.
Liel Kadosh (10th) said, “It was a fun and interactive way to get to know them better on a positive note.”
Overall, both groups had an amazing experience and made great friendships. This was an amazing experience for both the children who came in and the tenth graders.
